Our team recently conducted a successful application and user training session on the Tricarb 5110 TR Liquid Scintillation Counter (LSC) at the Department of Engineering, Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, University of Nairobi. Led by our Applications Engineer,Ezekiel Kamau, the training covered essential topics including basic operation and maintenance of the equipment, sample preparation, and troubleshooting techniques for the LSC.
We were also privileged to be joined by STEPHEN KAMAU, a former member of the Isotrace team and now based in Vienna, Austria, through our European network. Stephen shared valuable insights on potential research projects that Master’s and PhD students can pursue using the newly installed Tricarb 5110 TR system.
